Grammar Abuse in Signage part 6

This is a particularly impressive example of apostophe abuse as it dates back to 1858.

19th Century? There's no excuse at all. Everybody was taught immaculate written English back then. Bad spelling and poor grammar was invented in the 1960s.

On the subject of apostrophe abuse I'd like someone to look at the current chart and explain why Plain White T's arrived at their name. They do that silly 'Hey There Delilah' song about a long distance relationship. Maybe they're suggesting distances can be bridged with a carefree apostrophe here and there, but if that's the case, they're insufferably wrong.
