My hands were literally bleeding
I love The Apprentice. This series has got off to a great start.
Skip to 2:50 to hear the posh git get his comeuppance. I thought it was brilliant to hear someone say, "I literally left with my hands bleeding" and then go on to accuse someone else of hyperbole.

Cartoon time
Apologies for the lack of posts recently; we've all been terribly busy. In the absence of a well written and humorous post, I hope you will enjoy these grammar-based cartoons.

I think this is from xkcd but I'm willing to be proven wrong. I agree wholeheartedly with the premise. I mean I agree with the use of "they" as a third person, singular, gender free pronoun as opposed to the global bicuriosity. Although there's something about Russell Crowe in Gladiator that... never mind.
I found this on a recruitment site but I don't know the true origins.

This is just great.
I'm not suggesting that this mail box should be targeted by local youths for firework and/or urine attacks; I'm just saying I couldn't condemn them for doing so.

A fishy tale
The improbably named Jeff the fish got in touch a while back to share the following bit of tasty bait.
Jeff writes, "I saw this at the Vancouver Aquarium in British Columbia. I think they mean 'bitten' instead of 'eaten'."
I hope so, otherwise I am led to believe there are a lot of unhappy piranhas getting dragged around the amazon by their last meal.
Update: Oops, it appears Jeff isn't Jeff but actually Jason. Jeff is just the name of Jason's website. I do like a website with a first name.

If you're having grammar problems I feel bad for you, son
This is slapdashery beyond anything I have seen before. There are no unnecessary apostrophes at least.
